The Hudson Street Band, a tight outfit of accomplished and professional musicians, has been playing at Bay Area venues for several years. Playing vintage and modern Blues, Classic R&B, and Soul, a sprinkling of Motown, and a few other crowd favorites, the band features a broad range of material that provides a little something for everyone. From the Chicago blues of Muddy Waters, to the grooving soul of Al Green, to the funky rhythms of James Brown, as well as a few torch songs sung with emotional power, The Hudson Street Band always has the crowd up and dancing.
